I just read what I posted in June of 2010 and it seems like a few things may have changed since then. Let's make this a little more accurate:

My name is still Ryan Bodine but now I've got a Sydnie Bodine trekking along with me. If you happen to know us, you probably already know our "story." If you don't know us, then when/if we meet, do yourselves a favor and ask us. God is pretty wild. At that, I must encourage any single folks out there to read a book. "When God writes your love story." Take it or leave it but it's a good read for the lonely and longing.

So ever since I was on the shores of S. Africa in 2010 and said, "God do whatever you want with my life," He's taken me up on my offer. I've found myself in Haiti, Brasil, Philippines, Kenya twice and now with my wife in Uganda. Crazy much. Yes.

All I can say is that I am not going to miss out on what God has planned for my life. I refuse to live an ordinary life, trying to make another buck and desperately wishing that I was on vacation somewhere nice in the Caribbean. "Ain't gonn happen!" So I've chosen to be ok with saying, "I don't know," and, "sounds crazy but."

I still love music, the Indianapolis Colts, water sports and adventures but as the great "unknown" person once quoted,

"Wise is he who trades what he cannot keep, for that which he cannot lose"

Seek first HIS Kingdom friends.
